what size SNOWBLOWER for TC33??

MAy go for a blower this winter . Anyone have feedback. A neighbor did buy a BIG one for his TC40 and it doesn't get down anywhere near the surface. I have FEL to push and move some snow so I am talking about a PTO rear unit.

The width of the blower should at least cover your rear tracks. The bite of the blower can be adjusted with the top link and/or the skid pads.

There are plenty of posts here discussing the pros and cons of various brands. This biggest discussion item seems to be the chute design. Some designs appear to work better than others.

According to NH's sales and marketing literature a NH TC33DA can handle a
64" or 74" rear PTO driven two stage snow thrower. I know a guy who has to move a lot of Adirondack snow with a Ford 1700 (which is somewhat less powerful than a TC29DA). I believe he runs a 64" unit. Jay

I have TC33D with 66" rear blower, which I believe is a good match. However it all depends on the type of snow. I've thrown 20" deep dry snow a good 30 feet, but then if you have 6" of slush I'm happy to get it just 10 feet. For my tractor I don't think I would go much bigger than 66".

I run a Wood SS 74" blower on my TC33D. I've run it in 18" inches of snow. It handled it fine, but did give the TC33D a workout.

I run a 74" Woods on my 33D.. works GREAT. I do have to play with ground speed a bit in heavier snow though.
