Tractor Sizing What size tractor do I need?

I have an Agri Cutter rotary cutter manufactured by Fred Cain Company. It is a 38inch model and has all the features of a larger rotary cutter. I pull it behind my 1401 and it does an excellent job even if it is a slow. The model is FC203.

I want to thank everyone for their help. I guess I'm looking for a 2310d-3110d with a 5 foot bush-hog. I'm located in NE Alabama (Gadsden). Any dealers within a couple hours of here that have something like this for sale; let me know and I'll come and take a look.

Thanks for the info on the Branson tractors. I hadn't heard about them before. I went to their Korean web page and it showed pix of tractors they build for John Deere, so they must be well made. I found one for sale not too far from here (Alabama). How does this sound....2001 branson 2810 with FEL,5-ft bush-hog,and 1 year left on warranty? 40hrs.

Yes, Maynard is a good place to look. You might want to e-mail him, he will generally get back to you, by the next day. I bought my YM 1700 from him, good tractor and a lot cheaper. But his web site man doesn't keep his site up to date, so you would need to e-mail him or call, to see what he has. It has been a couple of months since I bought mine, and he was getting in more at the time, so he probably has what you would be needing. If you contact him, tell him Charles from Oxford, MS. told you about him, and I said he would treat you right.
