I'm about 65 miles west of you, as the crow flies. About 150 miles to drive it....Like you, the land is steep in areas, some pasture, some woods, LOTS of rocks. I bought a used Kubota
M6800 locally. So far, real happy with it, other than I think there needs to be another gear between 4L and 1H, guess I will learn patience.
I had the tires filled, and still need to be careful in the steep sections. Pulling a new 6 foot Land Pride, I sometimes have to gear down on the steep sections (trying to go straight up or down on those sections). I have access to a
M4700, I think it would do the same jobs, just wanted a little more tractor for future growth, the ability to move up if I decide to do more with it. At some point may start cutting hay, plus have a long road to maintain, so was concerned the 47 horse would be big enough.
Be patient, keep looking, and buy as much as you are comfortable with. I found a used brush hog and 7 foot scraper blade about two weeks after I bought the tractor. The lady also had a seeder spreader and Burch disc she threw in, and wound up buying it all for $600.
