What size tractor?

I guess if people take your advice there will be a whole lot of B's on the used market quick! Bird, are you ready to sell and get an L as MarkC suggests? /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

So Mark, I guess the only place for the B's is on a subdivision or city lot where they have less than a half an acre lot. Man, 29 hp is a lot on a 100' x 200' piece of land. I guess since I have 8 acres, I should move up to the New Holland 400+ hp! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif, even though mine does a great BLUE job! /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

Forget about the L series, JimBinMI, price is the only reason I don't have the M120!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I thought cost was the only reason any of us bought these little tractors.

No, admittedly, if I could afford an M120, I'd have to have a smaller tractor to mow the yard. What's the smallest thing I could get with an air-conditioned cab?/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Not even my canopy was enough today with 90 degrees and high humidity while I was mowing and moving dirt./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

JimBinMi - No, don't take my 'advice' too literally - I'm not advocating that anyone happy with a tractor under 5,000 pounds sell it. I'm just acknowledging the influence of "tractor fever". I started with the smallest L-series, and now have what was the largest one when I bought it, the L4310. While admitting that I'm not "normal" whatever that is, the possibility of others falling victim to the same disease is always there, so it would be cheaper and simpler to succumb to it's effects sooner than later. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Bird - I think pretty much any of the L's can be had with an air-conditioned cab, can't they? I know the three largest ones can.

With all my talk about bigger tractors, for my purposes, I can't imagine trying to use a tractor much bigger physically than the one I have now.

JimBinMI - My opinion was given to someone wanting to farm 5-8 acres, not to the fictitious person with half an acre I used in my quip. It stands, with no waffling whatsoever.
