What System Does Kubota Use For Tier 4 Emissions On Say A 50 - 60 Hp Tractors

My Son-In-Law has a 2023 LS MT357 tractor (57 hp) and he talking about getting rid of the tractor that has less than 100 hrs on it. He says that it is going into regen to often. I told him to call the dealer about it but he has mind made up to go and buy a Kubota. He had a Kubota that was 20 years old with no emission.
My question is what does Kubota do for the Tier 4 emissions. Do they have a regen system and if they do, how often does the tractor go in regen. I have a 2024 LS MT357 myself and had problems with the regen coming on every few hrs and I was running the tractor over 2000 rpm's all the time. Dealer changed the whole regen system, but still regens every ten hours. I think it's too often yet. The tractor only has 60 hrs on it now. I just want to know if the Kubota owners are happy with the regen system in their tractors.

My Kubota MX6000 (63 gross hp) has a DPF. It regenerates about every 50-75 hours. Closer to 50 hours in the winter and closer to 75 hours in the summer (due to long hours rotary cutting at PTO rpms). So far I have no complaints.

My 40hp Kubota L4060 has the same T4 emissions as the rest of the L60 series, DPF regeneration. I believe (most?) tractors have DEF at 75hp.
Over the past 1100 hours it has averaged 53 hours between regens. Shortest was 20h while installing split rail fencing (a lot of idling), longest 93h. Average Regen time (all while working) is 13.5 minutes.

My 52 hp MX5200 regens more often when run at low rpms. When I work it hard it regens less frequently and honestly if I'm mowing (high rpms) I don't always notice it.
Like your son at first I thought it was a big deal...now not so much.

Don't worry about the regen just use the tractor. I regen about every 15 hours on my M7060.

Both my Kubota MX5800 and L6060 tractors have DPF. Regen intervals vary depending on usage. Frequent low RPM operations cause more frequent regens but average between 50 and 75 hours.

Regen is a non issue for me since it does not interfere with high RPM work operations. Time will tell if it will cause future issues with age or hours of use.

Is your DEF comment an autocorrect typo? I thought the L6060 was still just DPF.

Some manufacturers don't use DPF technology to meet Tier 4 requirements. My NH Workmaster 75 uses DOC/EGR technology so no regens. It also comes in a 65 HP and 55 HP model. Massey uses DOC as well.

A lot of LS frequent regen threads here.

You don't see them regarding any other brand really.

The Kubota will have DPF, but you won't find complaints about it here... Or JD, or TYM etc. Not to the degree you find LS
