I agree. If he clears the protocol, he will want to play and there is no way they don’t let him play. Also, it’s very possible he didn’t even have a concussion. Hopefully he didn’t.

Supposedly he has only had one other concussion and that was in college. The human brain can only take so much pounding.

Some are quick healing, others are not and theres a cumulative concussion syndrome that I suffer from many years after my playing days are over. Doctor says my son is on his last. He loves and plays lacrosse and football, but after college is over, he is DONE with contact sports.
Maholmes probably has contractural language that says he has to play if cleared. Theres no way a guy with his ability will sit if hes cleared. I could see them pulling him if up by 3 scores in 3rd/4th quarter. If he doesnt play, its because he isnt cleared to play.

At this stage I think all team press releases have to be taken with a bit more than a grain of salt...Reid may be making this kind of statement just to get the opposition licking its chops...but in reality there is no way he would put Mahomes in a position where he would be more vulnerable to further injury and risk missing the big game in Tampa should they prevail Sunday...
Obviously it's the execution that wins or loses games but the preparation often sets the game plan...anything a team can do to have the opposition prepare for something that isn't going to happen anyway is a common strategy...until the first whistle blows it's 98.9% a mind game...

On the NFC side...The weather may be a major factor for the Bucs to deal with...However the real key for the Bucs is getting their true offensive powerhouses that got them where they are in the first place into the game...by this I mean Mike Evans, Ronald Jones Jr., Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown along with Gronk...but a lot of this (regarding the receivers) has a lot to do with the Packer's secondary game plan...which means we may see more of Brate, Fournette and maybe O.J Howard...

Oh yeah...almost forgot...on the defensive side an interesting thing to maybe watch for is Suh getting in the face of Rodgers...they sort of have a history...!
