Two Questions;

1. Waht the lamest excuse you used to get quality or otherwise tractor time?

(I'm without a tractor but when I get one I want to be prepared- I knew the Boy scout motto would come in handy one day).

2. If you smoke cigars and the boss doesn't allow it inside - Do you smoke a cigar to get tractor time ? or Do you use the tractor to get cigar time?

Well Im allowed to smoke cigars, outside of course , but smoking cigars while getting quality seat time on the tractor just makes it that much better !

Usually mumbline something like I have to go 'move' something.. or etc gets me a few hours of seat time.. even if i don't fire up the tractor with the fel... ( heay.. I am moving something.. I'm moving the tractor! )

Well we had rain, or wind, or snow, or it's too dry. I better take the tractor up in the woods to check it out. Or the best one is " OK grandkids, The trailer is hooked up who wants a tractor ride."

I married a town girl ( towny) So I just make it look like it is vital that I go out and do something to say get ready for spring thaw. I try to make it look like it is vital to the survival of the family. The problem is I was gone for a couple of days last week and we got hit by a snow storm. She got in my plow truck and plowed the lane. She said it was fun. She actually did a pretty good job with the old beast.

Now the secret is out that it is fun,,, I'm done.

Luckilly I can usually pull some sort of 'tractor maintenance or repair' one over.. Uh.. I need to go install those muffler bearings that came the other day... (GRIN)

Need to work the grease in or it will be wasted on the ground and you know what kind of mess it makes when I bring it in the house on the bottom of my shoes.Dangit forgot to drive the tractor to mix in the Diesel Fuel Additive I added to keep that expensive fuel from going bad.Need to move some dirt where the doggies dug for varmits again,Wouldn't want you to get hurt by tripping in one.ETC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always have something to do.Personally I don't think I'm fooling anyone.But I feel good about not telling a LIE.

Uhhhhhh....... check the tractor for varmints eatin my hydraulic lines. They are really expensive!!

I have had to do wireing repair after rodents chewed wires on my 660 and 7610s.. after that i left them some 'green blocks' to chew on.. end of problem..
