the home page tries to load over topic I click on. As if it's trying to double load the home page ?????????
what the heck is wrong with the site

Wish I didn't have the problem. Wish I knew how to fix it. I thought they had been having problems with the site. It's been doing this for a couple weeks now

same 1 I've been using windows explorer 8.. At the top of the page with the tractor tire tread marks has started to cover 1/2 of the page when I open up a topic .It also has been slow to load.. sometimes giving me an error stating tractorbynet isn't responding.. Do I want to recover the web page

No problems here with TBN. Slow to load may be due to a need to clear your cache and clear history. I use Firefox with Adblocker. I clear the history and use the free version of CCleaner program every day to keep things running smooth. By using this I do have to log back in each day but TBN remembers my log in info so just have to wait a few seconds for the page to come up and click log in.

No problems either but I am running IE10 because of a work program that is not IE11 compatible. Are you using IE8 because the OS is Win XP, which cannot go any higher than IE8? Now that XP is no longer supported you will find more and more sites will no longer be IE8 compatible when they do a site upgrade. The newest version is IE11. It's just a matter of programming costs.
I just upgraded my last machine over to Win 7 because of Internet site compatibility issues with IE8. To go higher than IE8 will force folks to upgrade their OS, which usually involves a hardware upgrade as well. Most XP motherboards came standard with 512 MB to 1 GB RAM with a max capacity of 2 GB RAM. Win 7 32 bit can run on 1 GB RAM but Win 7 64 bit requires a minimum of 2 GB RAM.

Or one could install Chrome or Firefox on XP...
It depends on the computer, 5 years ago, we were ordering XP computers with 4GB of ram. I would not order a new Windows 7 or 8 computer without at least 4GB of ram and would HIGHLY recommend 8GB of ram if you will be keeping it for more than two years.

We did the same for our work computers as we knew that we would be upgrading them to Win 7 but if it was an off the shelf model from a retail store most have a low end motherboard and memory. I agree that Win 7 runs better with 4 GB but if you do mostly surfing or home applications 2 GB will suffice. Most home users don't need 1/10 of what the computer can do unless they are online gaming.
