Couple of winters back, light fluffy snow on the road, I skidded when I tapped the brakes.
The reason was that under that snow was a 4 x 8 sheet of aromatic cedar closet liner.
As I drove on I found 7 more sheets, all undamaged.

My wife really likes that closet!

With our rough roads the lumber yard kept loosing his load one sheet at a time!

The worst I ever encountered was a guy in an F250 pulling 2 loaded hay wagons through downtown on a 400 series hwy at rush hour.... :confused2:

I guess the slow moving placard fixes everything....

He had some balls that boy.

Around here you see that everyday. What causes me to look is when the steel scrap guys go by. There is a van around that they fill with scrap and I have seen a few fridges and stoves strapped on top. It looks like it works but it seems like it would be a little top heavy. Trucks will also be stacked to easily twice the hight of the truck and sometimes it looks like it might be a problem going under some of the low railroad bridges around here.
It gets crazy around here.:laughing::laughing:

There's a vehicle I see every so often around here hauling scrap metal. It's the front half of an old Chrysler minivan, cut off right behind the seats. It looks permanently attached to a 16 or 18 foot tandem axle trailer with no tongue. I don't know exactly how to describe it. I may have a picture or two around here somewhere I'll try to find.

There is a huge scrap yard a couple of miles from me...it is unbelievable the amount of crap I've seen on the roads around it...all sorts of miscellaneous car parts fall off trucks going there. I really have to watch out to not ruin a tire in the area..

Matter of fact, now that you mention it, I seem to recall seeing one somewhere. I think it was yellow. I can't quite remember where I was but I think it would be a little strange to drive.
