Sig, just a thought, but if she enjoys her yard and likes it to look nice, you could take the money, buy some plants, some mulch and landscape edging and make some plantings around some of those trees you mow around. It will give her enjoyment to see an even nicer yard, and you will have an easier job mowing around those trees with low hanging branches!
When you deliver the plants, put a big red bow on them, etc. Then when you plant them you can make the mulch beds. Just an idea.
