what to open a dwg file with? ( autocad file? )

anyone know of some free software i can open a dwg file with.

I'm guessing it may be an autocad file?

ok.. looks like autodesk themselves have a free viewer.

Yep, works fairly well to view. Can also import some versions of DWG with MS Visio.

i remember having this issue before.. but that was when i had a computer at work.. not a tablet!

There's a free program out there called 'Draftsight' - link below. It's free, and there's a build version for Linux, Mac & Windoze. Not open source, but it is free, and gives you the ability to create, manipulate existing and print 2D drawings. I have used it quite a bit on a Linux OS and think it works well. Much more capability than the viewer, if you're interested.

TrueView from Autodesk seems to work most place I've tried it.

that one specifically gave me problems needed a .net package that my tablet is alergic to.
