Check out the Sunset series of garden books. They have great info on what to plant where, by climate zone and time of year. Out here, it's thier Western Garden book. Back there it would be different, but a great resource. Look at www.sunset.com

Kale, cabbage, turnips, rutabagas, jerusalem artichokes, spinach, mustard, collards, radishes, broccoli, brussel sprouts...maybe...english peas, snow peas...

When I lived in South Georgia...this time of year was the only time most of the above would grow for me without bolting or wilting from the heat and humidity!!!
