Snow What to use for snow clearing?

Even the softest material is going to cause scratches eventually. It won稚 be the scraping edge itself, it値l be the rocks and dirt that it痴 pushing across the driveway. There痴 just no way around it when using a blade. If you were closer I could give you a piece of HDPE, though I知 certain you壇 still end up with scratches. But they would be free scratches.

I luv it! "Free Scratches!" Bet you could go to your local gas company and ask the for a couple scraps of plastic pipe (You'd want 'stick' [not coil] 1-1/4 or 2"! They throw scraps in the recycle dumpster all the time! Or, if you see a gas line job, ask! Utility workers are a pretty friendly bunch.......~Scotty

I agree with Timber about leaving it covered with some snow for protection.

Take the bulk of the snow off with a blower, leaving 2-3 inches for a front mounted broom.
