What tractor did I buy?

Hey Guys,

WalMarts also sells the Transmission/Hydralic lubricant. I don't have a container with me that I can read the specs, but I think it said, that it met the JD303 specifications. That's what i have in my hydralics. I was told that it was a little bit thicker than the regular hydralic fluid and that it lubricated maybe a little bit better.

Not all WalMarts have it though, only the stores that stock the Tractor Oils.

It lubes a whole heck of alot better. UTF is spec'd as a final drive lube.. sliding gears and all.

HYD fluid.. like aw46? is just that.. hyd fluid. It has some pump lube qualities.. but nothing for trannies and diffies.. etc.

Most of the loader systems that use the tractors sump will run the utf in place of a dedicated pump/sump of straight hydro fluid.
