What type of gun is this?

It's usually the type of guy that is a bit dirty or compromised that thinks everyone else is also. We dumped that cheap swill in the storm drain behind the station.
Your holier than thou attitude is so lame...!
It's got nothing to do with "some guy" being a "bit dirty"...it's about opportunists and just as many cops are opportunists as any other profession...if you put cops on a pedestal for integrity you are as naive as they come...!

And FYI...most of the beer that usually got taken was either Bud or Michelob....!

Not holier, just honest. Most all are, they swear an oath and take that seriously. And you seem to know alot about a field you never worked in. Kind of, what, Niave maybe? Got most of your opinions from cnn and msnbc I guess.

LoL...You do know what they say about making assumptions don't you...?
First of all...do you actually believe that taking an oath makes a difference to opportunists?.
Secondly...I thought about becoming a cop but I decided to go to college...!...I have several close family members (plural) that are in law enforcement...including someone that is a registered and licensed voice stress analysis technician/instructor...he does VSA tests on all the applicants (regardless of experience) PD, sheriffs dept.'s and DA's offices in all the surrounding counties...It's amazing how many applicants are turned down...and it's nation wide according to the statistics from VSA results...!

FYI...What I've related is not opinion...it's cold hard fact...and another thing...I don't watch ANY cable news shows...

Oh and while I have your attention...I bet you think all cops are expert weapons handlers too ?...care to guess how many cops have accidental discharges every year...?

When I was a kid, the police would make us pour it out right there. Then they'd tell us to go home and they'd better not see us out again tonight.

Of course, we'd just go buy more and go to another area.

I think what did it all in was that the cops would let you go, you'd go out and kill someone in an accident, the cops would get sued... and finally, the cops figured out that they shouldn't put their career(s) on the line for some drunk fool. So now everyone (almost) goes to jail (rightfully), where they belong. It's no longer acceptable.

"Throwdowns" can be had easily via the street...it is the collectable guns (that come from thefts etc.) that get "lifted"...
When it comes to illegal activity by LEOs...I think all cops should have to take lie detector (voice stress) testing on a regular basis...
Even the perps aren't required to take lie detector tests. I didn't think any of us thought less of the LEO than we did the perps.

A collectable gun is the last thing any Cop would steal. There is absolutely no reason anyone would do this. First, the gun, may, or may not, be on a list, of stolen guns. So they could never sell it. Even to a private party. Cause they wouldn't know if the future buyer later would go through an FFL, then trace it back to the Cop. And just possession would be problematic. Maybe in the pre-68 era this did happen, but it doesn't happen now a days. Exceptions are not normal by definintion. So yes, someone can find a case. These are extraordinarily, and really singular, and insignificant.

"I got a friend" right up there with "I know somebody". Makes you an Xspurt! Yeah, I went to college too, the academy was tough, very tough. Probably why you didn't go. But don't let that stop you from expressing yourself on matters that you have no actual experience in. Lots of that going on these days.
