I just got a Ford 4610SU with a manual that says to use Ford M-134 oil in the transmission and hydraulic system. I am not going to Ford to get oil. What type of hydraulic oil or tractor fluid can I substitute?
It says to use Ford M-41 power steering fluid also. Can I just use regular auto power steering fluid?

I have a variety of ford and NH equipment. i use a compatbly UTF oil in them.. Used to be TSC utf oil.. but now for the last few years I've been using the walmart supertech UTF oil.. it's about 25$ per 5gallons.

Yes.. you can use regular power steering fluid in your ps pump.. ATF probably work fine.. plain hyd oil be ok.. probably get by with sae 30w engine oil.. and lastly.. that UTF oil is 100% fine in there.. and is what I use on my 5000.

The spec you are looking for to match is M2C134D.. ( g is the latest one.. D is fine.. )
