What winch is on your 3010 Mule?

Did you have use an adapter plate, if so can you tell me which one? Is it mounted inboard of the brush guard where Kawasaki has intended it to go? Is the roller fairlead right out of the box or did you spec your mule model to the supplier as you purchased it?

No adaptor plate that I can recall. I removed the brush guard and mounted it where Kawasaki intended it to go. I recall that I did not need to purchase anything other than what came with the RT30. I mounted the remote plug-in controller through the left side front quarter panel above the front left tire. I did not use, or mount, the push button switch on the steering column. I only use the plug in remote controller. The fairlead mounted just fine where it was intended. very easy install. The only thing that took some time was running the electrical hook-ups.

I went through a 1500lbs, 3000lbs winch before finally getting it right with a 4000lbs winch. If you bottom out the mule you're going to want the extra 4000lbs. I've buried mine here in upstate ny during the hunting season in some pretty soupy stuff and sometimes needed a snatch block to boot. get a 4000lbs. I use a viper winch and have never regretted it. good luck
