You mean like the world's first bi-directional tractor made in Canada by Versatile from 1977 on and presently being made by New Holland who bought out Versatile?

I am thinking something like the Tigre 3100 - 26 hp Antinio Carraio but bi-directional. Ed

I'd like to see all the manufacturers use engines that meet final tier 4 without the need for a DPF. Many already have models on the market like this, but it would be nice to see it widespread.

Wider ag tires for the front 16" wheels on CUTS and with heavier plies. Most who buy a 25-45 HP CUT in 4wd are also getting it with a loader. And 7x16 or 8x16 tires are just too skinny and make big ruts with a loader.

Would also like larger front tires (diameter) offered in the smaller framed tractors. Short tires ride rough.

Better hydraulic hose protection underneath. (I fabbed a skid plate to protect my hoses and filter after a few near misses)

Develop a radiator that dont plug up with crap when brushhogging in the fall:thumbsup:

I'd like to see a small crawler with steal tracks in the 30hp range. A "CUC"compact utility crawler. Small baler, small row crop harvesters, and a small 30hp combine. Or a range of those in a towed models, like manufactured in 1950's. HS

Where to start!! First of all most tractors have a computer so lets start there. Put a clock in the dash. Add a usb port for diagnostics so the dealer can access your computer through a cell phone and save the cost of a service call and you can charge your phone while working with the tractor.

On hydrostatic tractors with electronics add a switch so the you can choose between a rotary knob or foot pedals for speed control. Having to keep your foot in the same place for ten hours a day gets tiring. And yes I have cruise but a rotary knob would be handier.

Take the engine speed control off the dash and put it beside the seat with the rest of the controls where it should be.

Add differential lock to the front axle so the you can use the traction from all four tires.

As stated above, a wide front tire option for front end loader work. I made my own but it sure would be nice just to order the tractor that way.

Don't need to read the same thing twice!

I'd like to see all the computers ripped out and thrown in a huge pile, like Pol Pot did with the technology of his day. Maybe ALL the electrical stuff! Put a crank out front and a kerosene lamp for light.

I'd like to see an improved SCUT design.

1. Add 2 inches to the wheelbase by moving rear wheels back 2 inches. This would allow any existing mmm decks to work with wider rear wheel stance. It would also eliminate the need and/or issues adding aftermarket spacer could create.

2. Widen the rear wheel stance by 6 inches to create a 50 inch width (normal scuts have a 44 inch width rear wheels). This would increase hill and slope stability but not impact turn radius. An existing 54 or 60 inch mmm deck still would have some overhang cutting ability.

3. Have a front pto paired with mid pto while still keeping rear pto. This would allow hookup of existing rotary broom or snowblower etc. Without the need for reduced ground clearance the extension pto and frame support currently use. (Currently many scuts have a heavy sub frame support that extends from mmm pto attach and extends to quick hitch area . . with a reduction in ground clearance down to only 3 or 4 inches).

4. Front remote with quick connects built in and useable whether a fel is on or not.

5. An optional "thin" mmm design that gives a mmm equipped scut to have greater ground clearance.

6. A "paired" engine and hydraulic/ transmission heater set that allows better cold weather starting convenience. Lets face it . . The 25 or 26 hp scut engine sizes are fine for power but the stress at cold weather startups on smaller tractor engines/trsnmissions/hydraulics is large feasy to forget or properly do for a scut. A paired preheating method might look like engine block heater type plugs but it would serve more the key areas but engineered to each preheat need per area but just a single plugin.
