What year did tractors get "complicated"?

When did they get complicated? Seems like about 1906.

You can have complicated to operate, like the one shown, or you can have a complicated design that is totally user friendly, like modern tractors. Just turn the key and go.

Early ones may have been complicated, and certainly were for their time, but everything was right out there to see and fix. Now, you have to order parts and figure out how to get to them.

Imagine actually trying to use that steam tractor in the modern world.

Thank you for asking the question. I've read so many horror stories on this forum, about the newer tractors that I want nothing to do with them. I did a search of what was available on TractorHouse last night and had to guess as to which year to enter as the latest in my search.
Now, I'm going back to read your replies and see if a good answer has popped up.

If i buy a newer tractor, I plan to hold a magnet to various parts, especially the rear end. I'm not set up to weld anything that won't attract the magnet.

It's totally unnecessary computerization. Almost every appliance now has a microprocessor.

It is not required.

It is extremely cheap to manufacture.

It is hellishly expensive to replace.

It is usually the cause of the failed appliance.

It is desired by the consumer.

Kind of like government. They get what whey deserve or asked for. Or just ignorantly went along with.

That has to be a typo. Tractor looks too good. I'm thinking 891 hours.

that's a non loader tractor. Not many people purchase a loader less compact tractor these days.
This one was most likely traded for a tractor with loader
As for tractors being complicated these days is The reason I bought a low HR 2013 model
