Just bought this tractor this weekend but cant figure out what year it is. L2850d-55039 is on the tag but I cant find this serial #55039 listed anywhere on any site. Help please.. Thanks

That tractor was sold to the orginial owner Stein Builders Endicott, NY by Goodrich Imp. on May 31,1988

Wow, Thats more info than I bargained for. Thanks for reply, Can I borrow your crystal ball?..... Anyways, Now has 1023 hours on it, FEL and a 6 ft bush hog. Excellent shape, Paid 9K for it...

uh, he does it the same way any of us could. Call Kubota in Columbus and give them the serial number - they can tell who they sold it to and when (first retail sale). But probably if everyone started calling them they'd stop doing it. So we should think a minute before calling them with a number we don't really care about.

Thru Kubotas dealers website a dealer has the capability of looking up the orginial owner & selling dealer. No phone call is necessary.Just happen to be on line with Kubota when I came across the request and had time to check it out not something I would do regularly.
