Ahhh, if you loose traction on anything (ZTR, tractor, car...), you've most likely lost a lot of your steering.

Big wide tires help is steep situations and traction control, weight probably helps also. I have a 61" Grasshopper (big tires & weight) that I have had no problems with traction on my slopes but the little 36" Hustler (small tires & light weight)I have struggles with the slopes and seems to loose traction quickly. This is just my observation so far.
