Here's where reading your manual comes in handy.

On page 4-1 the manual recommends a 48" box scraper with a weight of 254lbs.

BTW, a coworker/neighbor of mine has a SC2400 and loves his. I think he just has the front mounted snowblower and loader tho.

I have a 4' bb that I got from tractor supply that I used on sc 2400. It is the orange color so it is made for scuts. I graded my 300' drive way with it often and it worked great. I also kept it on all winter for weight.

Nice looking rig, congrats! I love mine, it's a great little size but lots of guts. I have the front hitch with power angle blade, (and a blower too) but use the blade almost exclusively.
Agreed, most rear implements would be 48".

Enjoy it!

I agree with the comments that I should buy a 48 inch BB. My question is should I buy one that says it's for SCUTs or a non-specific 48 inch BB. If it's a 48 inch BB, what makes it specific for the SCUT? My guess is the build is less robust. If the weight is within the lift capacity of the 3PH on the SC2400 wouldn't the heavier BB be better? I did notice the SCUT BB pictures show fewer teeth with fewer adjustment holes. What does everyone use?

Thanks, again, Dave
