Please do elaborate, is like to understand your frustrations as I'm looking at purchasing a
bx25d.

Ok, I will tell you. But please understand, this is MY opinion. I know there are websites out there with many loyalists that scoff at ANY negative orange comment.
About me,I don't claim to be an expert, but I have operated everything from Lawn Mowers to twin engine Aircraft. In the Heavy equipment world, Craftsman riders to Cat 245 hoes and D-8 dozers. I have hundreds of hours on (the most in fact) on sub 30 hp tractors/ many of them Kubota. I say this to point out that it's not like I have never been on one before. Take it for what its worth.
Now then. IMO The
BX25 is basically a lawn mower on Steroids as it is not built like a true tractor. Its a great wheel barrow, but I find it falls short on doing any real work. You need to High rev the engine just to move the loader which I find to be very weak and lethargic on all fronts. It doesn't have enough power to "curl you " out of being stuck. Nor do I find it to have a good power down, I also wished it lifted just a little bit higher. Having the grapple, I will say that I would not buy it again either.(opt for something that attaches to the bucket and clamps.)
The tractor in general doesn't have enough girth to it and has little traction in general. The front tires are Way to small, they don't grip and there simply is not enough lug on them to be useful. Did I mention they constantly leak air?
The tractor is also very tippy, This can be addressed with wheel spacers but was something I didn't notice while looking at them. Another big thing for me is the lack of dual brakes for steering. It's haunted me a few times.
I find the seat great but the hardware is...well junk. I keep having to bend the tabs back in order for it to lock, the safety switches are mounted flimsy and I needed to mod them with double sided tape. I wish the arm rests were bigger too. I find that I really wish it had a tilt steering column, and the diff lock pedal is completely stupid and difficult to use. I have had lots of starting issues and to this day it has a bad fuel shutoff solenoid that needs to be replaced. (hasnt had the first oil change yet.)
I keep reading where this tractor "sips" fuel, but to me it seems to chug it down.
The backhoe is fine, but I am not fan of the outriggers (small and short)
On the dealer lot paint was flaking off and there was rust stains present.
If you want to buy bark and haul it around a flat yard, its great. If you need to put in some sprinkler line, it will work.
When I bought this, I knew that it wasn't a perfect tractor. However, I thought I was buying the same Quality of Kubota grandad did. Its not. Now that I own one, I notice more and more posts on Kubota issues. Kubota is not Toyota and I feel the company is a bit arrogant with what they produce now with a seeming lapse in quality. This is not a first rev tractor, and it should be much more refined and tweaked.
If I had to do it all over again, I would probably buy either the GC1720 or Max26. - Its not likely I would buy a Kubota again. You may very well have an entirely different experience. Good luck.
