Re: What\'s ailing my bota 4610\"
I have been behind the seen reading TBN for quite some time. After reading the problem with Smoky Mountain's tractor, it reminded me of what the Kubota dealer told me about a month ago, while shopping for a new tractor. He said that Kubota ships all tractors to him with just enough fluids (oil, hydro etc) to make the tractor run safely. He was complaining that each tractor he gets in, he has to spend time and money toping off all the fluids. He even told me he had ask the Kubota rep why, and was told in so many words, that 1 quart per tractor X 1 million tractors is a lot of $$$$. Is it possible that smoky mountain's tractor was not topped off with hydro fluid when he took delivery of the tractor????? If that is true, perhaps when it was on the steep incline, no fluid could circulate thru the hydro pump.
