whats difference between 2720 and 2032R

hi,
whats the difference between a 2720 and a 2032R other than years made?
tractor data lists them with the same engine.
does the newer ones have emissions control?
there are 2 used ones i'm looking at.

The pre-2017 2032's and the older 2720 are the same machines with different badging, the 2017 2032's are a completely new design (similar to the 1-series), and yes they have a DPF system.

Why JD duplicated the model number from 2016 to 2017 is anyones guess, buy boy is it causing confusion!

Lol...so true in years past, but they actually do now. The first number is the frame/series/chassis size, the next three are the horsepower rating, and the letter is the trim level.

kennyd is right, they are practically the same machine. But actually, JD made a few subtle changes to the pre-2017 2032R. The 2032R has RIO on the PTO which the 2720 does not. Also, on the 2032R they added two little metal guards to the left and right of the radiator that are not on the 2720 (still not sure what the guards are supposed to do). The 2032R has a green fuel cap and the 2720 is black. ( )

There are probably some other changes if you dive into the parts list. RIO on the 2032R is the most significant difference IMHO.
