Well boys, y'all need a preacher. That'd be me. Been doing that for about 40 years, reckon I'll stick to it 'til the end. But, I started out cutting grass with push (push. No engine kind) mower in me neighborhood at 8 years old, $.50-$1.50 or so a yard. Started as substitute paperboy at 11, couldn't wait to turn 12 so I could get me own route! I got two routes at 12, then at 15, got on at service station. Worked pumping gas, changing tires, oil/filter changes, washing, did it all, through high school. THEN. WHAM. The big UMBRELLA hanging over us boys' haids back in those days was - Vietnam. That's all I'll say about that. College, grad school, been preaching ever since.
Who was that brick layer? In Ohio. One skill I wish I had. I've done every building trade except brick laying. Love to watch a good brick layer work!
I ain't afraid of work. I can sit around and watch it all day...
