Monogamy is grossly under rated in our society it seems. A marriage is a fine thing.

We did ours in a hot air balloon at five thousand feet above Sedona, Arizona.

Congrats, and I hope that those moments when you want to run away screaming come, you don't have that option. And when you have that option, you don't want to leave.

I've got it figured out that as a human being we're gonna fall in and out of love all our lives. The lucky of us do it with the same person. What's interesting about that phenomon is that we seem to fall in deeper and out less as the time goes by.

Marriage I guess is sorta like the square hole and the round peg getting together. When everything fits just right the square peg isn't quite as square and the round hole no longer is round.

That simple Tom /w3tcompact/icons/clever.gif...first, you're doing the same things you have always done, second, you have to do things your wife to be wants you to do, and third you have to re-do those things you've always done a little different because your wife to be wants you to do it her way. 1+1+1=3 times as much work /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Oh.....don't worry about it Tom....you'll love marriage and the extra work will seem like a small inconvenience.

There have been a lot of jokes about wives in threads throughout TBN, but I can pretty much guarantee that almost every guy out there wouldn't change a thing! There's nothing like having someone that you can really talk to and with! I have to say that my wife is my best friend, along with some other things! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Ditto, Golfgar! I sorta noticed the same thing in my short life on TBN. Glad you said that. And congrats, Thomas. We've been married for 16 years this year (We = wife & I, not Thomas & I, as grammatically indicated /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif). I was told at the start of our marriage that we should not look at things as 50/50, but 100/100, and that has helped me countless times. Maybe that's sorta why 1+1=3.

My prediction is that we will look back on our desktop PC's in the same way we look at the old steam powered tractors. The days of sitting at a desk in front of a hulking monitor are going to end....already are. Also, it appears we are in the transition from the Industrial Age to an Information Age, just as we went from Agrarian to Industrial near the turn of the last century. That means those of us with agricultural tendencies are now TWO evolutions behind! Hooray for us!
