Thanks Mark. This runs flawless so long as the intake tube is submerged by tipping the lantern. Set upright, it runs out of fuel.had one back in the day that did something similar... if you shook it lightly it worked for a little while... turn it on the side it worked for a min then would spit & sputter if it was left there too long and go out.
Also how NEW/OLD is the fuel? some of them were made to run on different fuel other than white gas, kero or regular would work in the really OLD ones. -Mark
The fuel seems ok. It burns nicely so long as the intake is submerged. I haven't found any way to flood and gag it.
