what\'s that smell?
this is a new one. I have 2001 tc40 with only 175 hours. last week I was plowing snow and began to noticed a smell. shut down and could trace it (it smells like when you follow a semi truck down a hill and they have been riding their brakes you get that melting smell) I smell it very faintly when getting on the tractor even after it has sat overnight. yesterday I was in the woods tapping maple trees and the more I drove it the more I smelled. I have check all fluids grease fittings all fine. it seems like it is coming from the clucth area. tractor shifts and drives fine. I just don't want to screw it up and with only 175 hours it does not seem like a clutch would be going out already any ideas?
thanks
