I did this dance owning 2 different Craftsman (2011?) GT6000s (first one fell apart so many times they finally agreed to replace it), a cub cadet (model number escapes me, similar size though), then dumped the last for a used JD 455 I found on CL. I spent $1000 less on the used 455, have a K92 rear end (about the toughest you will find), a diesel engine, shaft driven, diff lock, all wheel steer, and a 60" deck. I can't begin to explain the difference/joy nor can I tell you how many times I've kicked myself over the money I dumped into those other machines.
I know this isn't what you asked, honestly I know very little about the current Husq lineup. Just thought I'd offer the advice I was given and wish I would have taken much earlier.
