Even though I smoked cigarettes for 20 years from 1966 to 1986, I never smoked cigars. We had boxes of cigar boxes given to us when I was a kid from a relative who worked at Walgreens selling them. These were nifty boxes good for storing anything and lasted forever. I still have quite a few of them. Not smoking cigars, I never noticed the prices but all the old boxes I had usually had 5, 6 or 7 cents on them.
When I went to Cuba couple of years ago I told all my friends I would bring them back some authentic Cuban cigars. Imagine my surprise when I got to Cuba and found that the cheapest real Cuban cigars they had were $7 each. (Probably tourist price) It had me wishing I had less friends who smoked and more who liked T-shirts as I counted out the roll of $20 bills to pay for them.
