Re: What\'s the real difference between styles of ATV

rhino is for playin hpx is for workin.i have put my money where my mouth is . there are plenty of rhinos around here and they flip easy. how can you say they don't ??? your lyin right through your teeth. and to sit there and tell me i don't know nuthin. i would never put my kids on a rhino. they are to dangerous and like i asked where are all the rhino's on the farms and work sights . i don't see them around here. and as for my gator not being able to turn my tires it does just fine in the mudd and out the mudd.i recently tested it out we had a little bit of rain enough to make a nice mudd hole.and the only thing that got stuck was mudd to my fenders. and as for gators at rides well if you would check up on things alot of trails have rules of how wide your utv can be but hey you wouldn't know nuthin about that huh? and like i said before they are glorified atv's not workin utv's and about the friends brother stuff it's stuff i seen with my own eyes not second hand info.like i said before i was lookin at the rhino's before i got my hpx but the sales person kinda talked me out of it because of my neck and the way the ROLL to easy.. the rhino and gator i are in to diferent classes and for people who say they own both if the rhino was so great why you have a gator too?wouldn't you sell the weaker of the too. being that the rhino is so powerfull. you kind remind me of the people who say if you can't dazzle them with prefection the puzzle them with bs. i mean come on if the rhino is so great why do you own a gator too? i know to do the heavy work huh? i can't believe you would recomend a rhino for a family utv. if you owned a atv store and recomended something like that you would get sued from the first guy who's kid got hurt or killed on one. to me the wider the better when it comes to kids and the wife ridin it. have a nice day sirs as i was replying to two people not one . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif no hard feelins my friend but you shouldn't act like you know everything. sometimes people are wronge but just won't admit it huh! and i'm not calin nobody an idiot sales don't have anything to do with the danger's of the rhino or the ability to haul a load. hey thousands of 3 wheelers were sold before they said hey these things are to dangerous?? go figure if your gonna get a rhino get the half doors so it will keep your kids legs and your wifes legs inside when it rolls.

( and as for gators at rides well if you would check up on things alot of trails have rules of how wide your utv can be but hey you wouldn't know nuthin about that huh )

As a matter of fact, most places that have width restrictions have a restriction of no wider than 50 inches. The Rhino is ----- 54.4 "
Ranger-------60.0"
Prowler-------61.25"
and the mighty HPX is 59.4
so as you can see every one of these RUV's are too wide for the places I know of that have organized trails systems. I still see alot of Rangers and Prowlers at the legal organized rides for sure. But, both of these RUV's are WIDER than the HPX. So, good try with that "it's too wide for the rides" excuse. but then again I wouldnt' know anything about that because I don't " check up on things".....

Re: What\'s the real difference between styles of ATV

Actually I will give you the real reason why Gators are scarce at the bigger rides and jamborees. ANd it has nothing to do with width.
1. They are SLOW !!!
2. Ground clearance is slim to none
3. hardly any mods available
4. No ROPS ( but I guess since they refuse to roll they don't need it.)

WHy don't you go to www.utilityoffroad.com and take a look at which RUV is the most popular? Gators have 112 posts. Rhinos have 21,935.
and it is like that will all the other RUV forums also.
But, then again you must know something the rest of America does not.

Re: What\'s the real difference between styles of ATV

I think you have a good understanding why I own both. I am only trying to point out to Tommy Boy that the Rhino is not a weak tipsy wanna be. He seems to think that the HPX will take to the mud and trails the same as a Rhino. Honestly, that makes him look a bit less than educated on the subject. For work around the ranch and for doing the heavy hauling and slow "touring" around, I always picked the Gator or RTV. However, when it comes to running the trails with friends, especially some trails that may be moderately challanging, it's time to leave the Gator and RTV at home. You're right, they are apples to oranges. I only wanted to point out his flat misstatements that the Rhino's are weak and dangerous mistakes. For some reason, I read a hint of jealousy in his typing on those issues. Maybe he went trail riding with some and they got tired of waiting up for him... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: What\'s the real difference between styles of ATV

I didn't intend the "boy" part. That was a slip. However, otherwise, you are still completely just flat wrong on nearly everything you have said about a Rhino; including the same crap you read at the same site about a Prowler. No insult intended, but it is glaringly obvious that you have NOT put your money where your mouth is and actually purchased these units and put them to use. People who have done so will no longer believe much of what you post because you seem to only be like a rumor monger. You catch on to whatever rumor seems to go along with what you want to believe and then you pass that long as if it were fact.

Let's just put it this way; I buy and drive whatever I want. I am not brainwashed into thinking any one unit is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I would never consider using a screen name that positively ties me to one brand and one unit; you have no credibility then. Since I do buy and drive whatever I want, and change brands frequently, I'll just say that you have fallen victim to a big load of BS on the Rhino. Enjoy your HPX, it is one fine unit, but lay off of the obviously incorrect info you spread about units you know nothing about.
