Yea... those pins can get dry!
Removal and installation get's easier with practice. My first time the bucket was not on solid ground so extra "wiggling" was necessary to match the pins. Don't be afraid to move you bucket forward to get-squared-up with the loader framework.
As I said before Practice, Practice, Practice.... It's really almost as fast as changing 3-pt implements once you get the hang of it...

I feel your pain. I take my loader arms off when I know I will be cutting more grass than doing FEL work. the tractor runs better through the fields without the whole assembly in place and I can get closer in my turns without the arms being in the way.

I have tried several things to make it easier. My DK came with colored paper to identify the hoses, which of course came off quickly. I bought some colcored zipties to put the hoses, which makes the reconnect easier. I still manage to have to much pressure in the system from time to time and cannot reconnect a hose. I normally wind up using a Cclamp to releive the pressure in one of the hoses. I follow the manual to the letter on most occassions, but have found that my eye for wiggle is better. The loader arm stands sink into gravel too easy, so I always have some pressure treated boards on standby. I also use some pressure treated boards to even out any inconsistencies in the gravel drive when removing the arms.

Good luck too you. I grease my pins everytime I remove them. I also keep a large wooden mallet for realignment purposes.

My experience with hydraulic drive snowblowers (Erskine), is that they do not work. They amount to a very expensive, elaborate, interesting straight blades. I hope for your sake that yours works, unlike the three Erskine blowers I acquired. Have the dealer that sold it guarantee in writing that it will work :laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:.:mad::mad:

well, theres a 1 year warranty on it. i have seen video of them working - blowing thru 2 feet of snow..., so i think it will be fine. what happened to yours that they didnt work???

ah.....greasing the pins is the ticket.

I had to remove the loader again today to make the 50 hour maintenance work easier...and to wax the hood... way easier this time around. took only 3-4 minutes to remove the loader.

grease is good:laughing:
