What's the TBN of the Orchard/fruit/nut tree world?

/ What's the TBN of the Orchard/fruit/nut tree world? #11
One thing that we've found really helps is drilling a small hole in the bottom of a five gallon bucket and filling it up with the hose. Then the water slowly drains into the ground at the tree without running off. It's proven to be a huge difference when watering them.
I second this approach, but put the hole an inch or so above the bottom so that dirt, leaves, bugs will settle to the bottom and not plug the hole. I ran drip irrigation hose this way, but I've found that ants eat the drip tubing. So, just the hole in the bucket. And use a small hole to simulate drip irrigation.
