Planters What's the word on Cole Planters?

We stock the New Covington 1 row with ferterlize, cultivator, seedbox and 4 plates for most seeds for $1395 here at our lot in Ky or we can ship very inexpensive. Picture below. We also have a used Cole 12mx for $495 and it has 1 corn plate and cultivators with it. We do have the lid for the seed hopper. Picture below. Ken Sweet

We, Covington Planter Company, did buy the Cole Planter Company in 2003. We are manufacturing the Cole planters in Albany, GA. They are not made in China as stated in the other reply. There is a knock off that is made in China and it is blue....the true Cole planters that we manufacture here in the USA are green.

Wow, this is great news :thumbsup: and I stand corrected. The 12MX planter I had for many years was a great planter. Sorry I sold it.
We used the12MX to plant pumpkins as well as sweet corn and it both very nicely. The fertilizer unitd did a good job too.

I did see the blue "12MX knock-offs" ones from China and was not impressed. The tolerances were maybe better but one casting was broken and things just didn't look right.
I bought two at a sale but decided not too keep them because of quality issues.
By all means, a quality USA made Cole 12MX would be the place to start.
