Have you gentlemen ever watched the " Old Yeller" ? I watched it along with my boys many times. In one scene when yeller is attacked and injured by the wild hogs " Travis boy" hides him in a cave and block the opening with rocks, he then goes and fetches his ma to come and doctor up Yeller. When he and his ma come back, he sees the vultures or buzzard circling around above the cave and he then says, " I hope them buzzards ain't got him". in a lot of western movies I heard many times that they referred to flying scavenging bird " Them buzzard"
