Even my A2300N4 is a little noisy on the cold startup, but quiets down after 30 sec or so.
This was my first thought as well. And it would be nice to know what tractor and engine we’re talking about..
yes i always wait for the glow plugs to warm up.On my 2017 Branson you're supposed to turn the ignition on until the intake heating light goes out, then start it. If I forget and the engine is not hot, then it will be pretty unhappy when it starts.
when i started up new at the dealer, i said whats up with all the clatter, he said oh thats normal, it will quiet down when it gets broken in. it's got about a 125 hrs on it now.Have you taken it to or contacted a dealer? First choice.
that figures. i'm headed to Maine from Tennessee next week. gonna eat my weight in lobster, then head homeMy father had a Kubota 2550 which I believe had a Cummings engine... arguably the noisiest engine ever built. I sure was glad when he traded it for his 2800. He owned about 1/2 dozen Kubotas plus many other tractors throughout his life, yet that was the one he hated the worst.
