Now that the weather in Colorado is warming up, it is molting season for heavy duty truck retread tires. I've been dodging tread scraps all over the metro Denver area freeways lately.

In Florida those are called "ROAD GATORS".

they aren't seasonal down here.

I'm still amazed.

talking about a truck that weighs in at around 3 to 3-1/2 tons with hydraulic brakes stopping 12 tons.
