Gator & Dave, anti-water additives for diesel and gasoline do not remove the water that's in the fuel. What they do is breakdone the water down to smaller molecules to make it soluble with the fuel. This will get water to burn up instead of sitting at the bottom of the tank. All of this means that if you have a lot of water in your fuel, additive or not, you most likely will see some white smoke. However, a little white smoke while you burn the water off is no big deal. Just be sure that you keep and eye on that coolant level to rule out internal leaks.
