I think he's being optimistic . Typical main tractor on 1200 acres here would be a case IH steiger 9270 or Versatile 936 etc ..$50-60'000 .
If anyone can justify new these days on 5000 acre+ farms Quadtracks are all you will see !

A fully restored 4020 diesel. Just love the way they look and sound.

I own a 1968 4020 and am working on acquiring a 5020. No sound like that old mech diesel. Big Bud would be a blast to have.

Bought a 2008 5040 Kubota with cab earlier this year. Not much more I could ask for.

As most say there really isn't a single perfect tractor. The perfect set up would be an array for every specific job. If I had one tractor to do what I needed done now I would want a nice new Deere 110 TLB with all the options and a Laurin cab. But that's just wishful thinking. I'm in the process of locating a good used.

For a modern tractor I would like a Massey Ferguson 2680Hd with a Cab and loader. As for a vintage tractor it would probably be a unstyled John Deere or Massey Harris Challenger/Pacemaker.

I just want to drive one. I have drove the CT322 and CT332 and loved both of them, I can imagine I would love the 333D even more.
