Whats your favorite rifle?

Winchester model 88 lever action .243. anyone ever seen one?

It's a small caliber, but my favorite is probably my Marlin .22 magnum - definitely what I use the most to keep the vicious rodents in my area down to a manageable level. I'm in a special regulations area, so can't use a centerfire.

My favorite rifle? Huh, it depends on what im using it for. For deer hunting I like my Remington 700, but for just shooting I like my Colt AR-15. Cliff

Winchester model 70 in 7mm Rem Mag. I don't recall seeing a model 88? Does it look like the model 94?

Naval Rifles, 5 inch 38 caliber or bigger. Any less is a cap gun.

AMT semi auto heavy barrell 22 mag. Anybody that says 22mag semi auto's aren't accurate has never shot one of these!

I used to have a 6mm Remington bolt action. Bullet was a hair smaller than a .243 and seemed very quick and accurate. sold it to an uncle when I was young and needed money for more important things when at that age. don't see many of these anymore.

No it does not look like a 94, Try typing in Winchester Model 88 on yahoo and see if you can find anything.

Ruger No. #1 in 6mm Rem.. I know, the .243 is a better cartridge, but most of its advantage is lost on me, as I don't reload. Anyway, I wouldn't trade mine- it is superbly accurate, and puts the second shot in the same place as the first one.
When it's firepower over accuracy, I'll take the Mini-14.

well take ya pick marlin 45 long colt ,rem 700 .222,rem 45-70 rolling block i have a few .22's but for day to day game shooting each one above has there turn in the field
