What's your favourite tune when operating?

No, I'm not listening to the music while tractoring. Well, I don't have a cab, but I might use earphones if I wish. But each strange unexpected sound possibly coming from engine, transmission or attachment might cost a lot if you'd miss it and would not stop a machine in time. Music would block catching of these sounds.

I use earmuffs with headphones and music playing in the headphones. Then I can hear both the tractor sounds and the music. I know people who use earbuds and earmuffs, but I think that such a setup would block out too much sound.

I listen to 'talk radio' in the 'big truck', and that's what I listened to when I was operating a 'knuckle boom loader', but I just listen to my tractor when working around the house.
Music makes me sleepy.

I wear ear muffs to protect my ears. Can still hear the tractor to know when some wrong noise creeps in.

No tunes on the tractors. I like to hear myself sing:laughing:. No tunes in the truck either. No song is as sweet as a 16 litre 3406E Cat purring up a long grade at 105,000 lbs.:thumbsup: A few years ago, my grandson asked if my truck radio worked. I told him "I dunno, never tried it"....Dan.

I do the same, and I agree that both would be too much or weird or...

But on the same note there isn't much better than listening to hear her fire up for the first time of the day either. :thumbsup:
