For me it used to be Muck Boots but I think it's time for a change and looking to see what others wear that hold up to farm or rural use?

I still wear the old red LaCrosse boots. They don't hold up but I buy a pair every spring and when they tear I deal with wet feet until the next year. Sometimes they last through the spring, sometimes I punch a hole through them the first day.:(

I wear Rubber Neoprene Hunting Boots, I don't stick to a brand in particular.

My favourite steel toe workboots. Excellent winter traction, lightweight and comfortable.

I've had good luck with the Tractor Supply Ridgecut boots.

Comfortable, dry, nice in the Fall, Winter and Spring, bit warm in the Summer...

But all worth it for that Kubota Orange lining!

Lacross Grange boots. Been wearing them for many years. I haven’t found anything nearly as comfortable.
But, they are “ankle tight” so if you have thick ankles, they probably won’t be comfortable.

Seconds on the Ridgecut. For me, they are a better fit than the Muckboots.

I wear rubber boots 6 months out of the year. I have tried them all up to about $170 a pair. I haven't found any that last more than 3-4 months. The expensive ones don't last any longer than the cheap ones. I typically buy whatever is cheapest at Amazon or Tractor Supply now.

I really liked the Gempler's brown muck boots; good traction and great at shedding our sticky clay. They used to last me a couple of years a pair. I think that their replacements aren't as nearly good, as they don't shed clay as well, and the traction was much worse, plus they wore through on the flex areas on the uppers. The original browns would last until the soles were toast.

I'm trying some boots for fish processing/ ag work. The fits not perfect, but with an air insole, they seem to work for my feet.

All the best,

Peter
