Looks like some old abandoned equipment that had very small plow type shares with flexible metal concentric coiled tubes running from the wooden box to behind the share. The seed just gravity fed down to be placed and covered by the following share. Little adjustable holes at the top of each tube regulated the rate of seed used. That's just a very little one. A four horse model was a lot bigger. They did'nt work all that well but could save time in cultivation prior to seeding. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
