What's your opinion on these?

These minimax utility vehicles seem like the real answer to an affordable, new UTV. I am seriously considering trading my Grizzly in to upgrade to one of these ... http://www.sgmwusa.com/products01.htm Cost is ~ 8k.

That is certainly different....
Does it have 4x4, guess it would dpend on what you were going to use it for... I just can not imagine it would go the same places a true ATV would...
But would be fun to give it a try I imagine..

I could use something like that on our property. It sure would be nice if they were 4x4 or posi rear at least.

I have been looking at the same thing. There are many different models. Some with 4whell diff lock, 4wd. Dump beds, ATV tires etc.... There are quite a few companied making them also. Honda Acty, Mazda Carry, Dahitsu Hijet,, etc.. They are all used. You can not buy them new. BUT they are only around $4-5000. I found some good info on them here www.japaneseminitrucks.com

you would be surprised at where some thing will go! i think with the right tires and lift kit they would do great on a farm or hunting lease..besides you could always scrap the bed and install a nice winch.

www.tigertruck.com offers hybrid, gas, E85 and silent, no odor electric for true hunting capabilities. Their 4x4 looks like it could easily do what my quad does on the farm and much, much more. With the dump bed on the minitruck and my Toolcat I would have a perfectly matched pair of multifunctional vehicles.

Cost ~9k and it supposedly has a 5 to 600 lbs. dump bed. Cost per mile is estimated at less than 5 cents.

I'd buy one of these before I'd buy a new RTV or Gator. I had been looking at used mini-trucks @ $4K to 5K with around 30K to 60K miles or more ..... didn't know anyone was offering new. At that price it makes it a no-brainer in my opinion.
