Check out Woodmaxx first. Very high performance and relatively low cost.

Well i have had the wood land industry's chipper for a couple of months now I was cheep and bought the mechanical feed unit It works great i have cleared about a acre of alders and black cherry no issues yet
When i got the chipper i had to tighten every thing it took about 6 hours to check every thing grease it fill it with oil but now i know the machine inside and out
The woodland industrys guys were great to deal with I had a couple of questions They replied very quickly the man i spoke with even had his own chipper and used it regularly
It is a Chinese made chipper but seems to be well made and simple straight forward design easy to fix when i need to
Very happy with it so far

I bought one last week. 3 days 3 clogged flywheel chamber and smoking belts. They say the bed plate is not adjusted right. It doesn't adjust how they want it to. Closest I can get it is 1/4" and calls for 1/16 clearance.

I own an 8" Hydraulic Woodland Mills Chipper and am very happy with it. Solid unit and it is a real workhorse. Only had it 3 months but have chipped many trees and branches and does a great job. Great unit to have around your property without breaking the bank. No regrets.

what RPM are you running it at? I found that under 515 would clog. I run mine between 530-540 and it does not clog. Had a couple clogs but with the slight;y higher RPM works great.
