32 degrees and lightly snowing now. 1/2" of rain last night which changed to snow and left about an inch.

We are leaving vacation at St John, USVI this afternoon heading back home to St Joseph, MO. Pics from this morning and just now at home. Top pic was 80 degrees at sunrise at our vacation home, bottom is our ring camera at our wedding venue. Should be around 5 degrees when we land tonight.

According to the Davis Weather Instrument in my front yard it has been +2F since about 8 o'clock this morning and the wind-chill has been floating between -15 & -17F. It is supposed to get cold and windy after dark.

And it is just now starting to snow.

This thermometer is always a few degrees colder than what the weather service reports. We typically don't see it get below -40F.

Was 72 degrees then the front came through with high winds dropped to 56 degrees in about 10 minutes.
Oh and about 5” of rain since last night.
