Tires Wheels and tires for B2400

Right now I have turf tires(fronts are shot) and want to switch to R4's because I mostly do loader work with the weekly or so mowing. My question is, has anyone put wheels and tires off of something like a B2630, B2320, B2620 on an older tractor? Did it effect your mowing ability with a MMM?

I would venture to guess that the bolt pattern is the same 6-lug pattern. I would also guess that the size ratio between front and rear is the same. I also think finding wheels and tires for a newer tractor would be easier that for one from 1998.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm kinda stuck trying to find tires.

When I replaced the Carlisle "Turf Chief" tires on the front of my B2400, I ended up with Titan "Multi-Trac C/S" tires in a 6 ply rating. They are very good in the snow and easy on the yard. The one place they are worthless is in mud, as they fill up and turn into slicks. Over all I'm very happy with them tho and find that the 6 ply was a smart move. My Father-in-law has a 4115 Deere with the same tire but in a 4 ply rating and has had several flats and 1 ruined tire until he switched to the 6 plies and no trouble since!

What I have now are 4-ply. Got a flat tire the very first day I owned the tractor. On that day I decided that I want R4's due to the amount of brush I need to clean up. I also think they will give me better traction for ground engagement and less squat when doing heavy lifting with FEL. I doubt they way a whole lot more, but every pound helps center of gravity.
