When it started getting below 25F at night,I plugged in the block heater. Fires up as quick as it did in 80 degree temps.:thumbsup:

I made sure my battery was fully charged on the 955 and tried it again tonight. It just won't turn over fast enough for it to fire. I've only the had the tractor for a couple of months and it did come from a warmer climate, so it's possible it has a grade of oil in it that is just too heavy for the climate it's in now.
I picked up some fresh 15W-40 to change it out to see if that helps any. Once again, I cannot believe what JD wants a simple blocker heater. :confused2: Since my engine is a non-JD Yanmar, I think I'll call the local Yanmar distributor and see what they want for a block heater.
