we are in a Kioti discussion group, but there are lots of people pushing/advising other brands---but yet they dont own or have never owned a Kioti
This is a Kioti forum, it is not limited to Kioti owners, but is open to all who are interested in the brand. I'm not trying to argue, but several posters (myself included) like the Kiotis but don't own them. As for recommending other brands, the thread was started by someone who also was considering a Kubota (he said so), and he brought up Case later in the thread. This forum is to educate us all and in that light it took a few posts just to get to the point where it was realized that the size he started with might be too small. No one tractor is perfect for everyone, and while a tractor might be perfect sometimes a dealer spoils the deal. What size is best is determined by the job. What deal is best is determined by all sorts of factors.
In this case it might just be that a Yellow & White tractor (Cub Cadet) is the best deal, but that is still not decided and only the buyer can decide that. And a non-Kioti owner brought to the attention in this thread that Kioti DK 35, 40 & 45 are the same as the 8000 series Cub Cadets as the Cubs are made by Kioti, and sometimes the Cub version is lower priced. In any case, the Cub prices can be presented to the Kioti dealer to pressure him to lower his price.
